Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour day shifts starting at 6:00 AM or 10:00 AM; includes overnight call once a week and weekend call three days per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in a full range of cardiovascular surgeries including CABG and valve procedures
Prepare and maintain the sterile field in a fast-paced CVOR
Coordinate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
Monitor and interpret EKG strips during procedures
Provide expert support for heart surgeries, ensuring patient safety

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
First-time travelers welcome!
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to provide 2 supervisor references (1 within 12 months, 1 within 3 years)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong CVOR experience with confidence in skills
EKG interpretation and monitoring
Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Ability to float to other Sacramento facilities as needed
