Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM the next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for a variety of cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures
Independently perform cranial procedures with confidence and precision
Handle orthopedic trauma and total joint cases with skill and attention to detail
Support the surgical team in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols and facility policies
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia partners for smooth case flow

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong experience in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Proven ability to scrub independently for cranial and neuro-trauma cases
Comfortable working in an 11-suite OR with an average of 18 cases daily
Willingness to take call and respond within 15 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiar with Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Skilled in general OR, neuro-trauma call, and orthopedic trauma
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to hustle and speak up for patient safety
