Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM NOC, occasional scheduled holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Masterfully decontaminate instruments including drills, DaVinci systems, and scopes to ensure patient safety
Expertly assemble trays across all service lines from trauma to loaners
Execute sterilization processes using sterrad and steam with precision
Perform high-level disinfection on scopes with top-notch care
Manage sterile storage and serve as a vital OR liaison
Track instrumentation using Censitrac for seamless operations

Qualifications

CBSPD or CRCST certification through HSPA
3+ years of experience in a busy Level I trauma facility like OSU
Teaching hospital experience required
Trauma Level II experience required, Level I preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Censitrac tracking system
Skilled in automated endoscope reprocessors and high-level disinfection
Experienced with flexible endoscopes like bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, and TEE probes
Knowledge of specialty equipment processing across cardiac, robotics, ortho, and more
Aseptic technique, case carts, and sterilization monitoring
