Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes across a multi-county territory
Assess and treat patients with diagnoses such as CVA, aphasia, and other communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including MCS and home health staff
Document patient progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in home health
Comfortable with extensive travel (territory covers 11 counties; drive time up to 2.5 hours one way)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating adult communication and swallowing disorders
Experience with home health documentation and point-of-care technology
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family education
Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload of 6 patients per day
