Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with in-house radiologists to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain detailed documentation using Fuji EPIC and PACS systems
Ensure equipment readiness on Phillips scanners for optimal imaging outcomes

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification in General or OBGYN
BLS certification required
RVT preferred for vascular imaging excellence
RDCS a welcome bonus for cardiac imaging support
Strong procedural ultrasound experience
Ability to complete 8-10+ scans per day with attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in General and OBGYN ultrasound techniques
Vascular ultrasound experience highly valued
Comfortable performing procedures, drains, and biopsies
Proficient with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Skilled on Phillips ultrasound equipment
