Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday and weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a MedSurg/Tele unit
Interpret telemetry strips and sign off on readings
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
Participate in unit-specific orientation and training

Qualifications

Current RN licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA and TIA
Cerner experience recommended

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Basic life support
Advanced cardiovascular life support
Telemetry interpretation
Cerner electronic medical records
