End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. Standard 30-min response time. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including robotics procedures
Support cardiovascular cases including CABGs, TCARS, and carotids
Assist with complex neuro surgeries such as craniotomies and spinal procedures
Handle orthopedic trauma, total joints, and Mako robotic cases
Provide expert care during general surgery, urology, and endoscopy procedures
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed
Precept new team members and share your expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in multiple surgical specialties
Robotics experience with Mako and/or DaVinci systems preferred
Strong cardiovascular circulating experience required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expert circulating skills across CV, neuro, ortho, and general surgery
Robotics proficiency with Mako and DaVinci systems
Ability to handle trauma cases and complex procedures
Strong call response within 30 minutes
Flexibility to float between nearby campuses
