Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, patient-centered perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Prepare the OR and surgical team by ensuring sterile technique and proper instrumentation
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs to deliver smooth procedures
Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the team
Document perioperative care accurately and hand off patients clearly at transitions
Support continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance surgical outcomes

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Experience or training in Operating Room / Perioperative nursing (RN - OR background)
Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment with attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Knowledge & Skills

Perioperative nursing practices and OR workflows
Patient assessment and intraoperative monitoring
Infection prevention and sterile field management
Strong communication, teamwork, and situational awareness in the OR
