Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend (days: Sat/Sun, nights: Fri/Sat)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to a diverse patient population across ICU, PCU, and Med Surg levels of care
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret 12-lead EKGs for ICU patients
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage sedation, vasopressors, and insulin infusions
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed to maintain competency and support the team
Participate in standby rotation during low census to ensure adequate coverage

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a large facility
Current and valid Arizona RN license or compact license (must obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts
Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility and not have worked for CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity in the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and decision-making skills
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Experience with common titratable drips (sedation, vasopressors, insulin)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to floating within a multi-campus system
