Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to med/surg patients in accordance with facility protocol
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations with clinical sound judgment
• Participate in unit orientation and training to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current RN license (New Hampshire) or compact RN license preferred
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Knowledge of Med/Surg protocols and common inpatient conditions
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
