Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients with compassion and clinical skill
• Assess patient conditions, develop and update care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to policy
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to providers and family members
• Perform thorough documentation in the medical record to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire (or multistate compact license where applicable)
• Medical-surgical nursing experience (prior Med/Surg experience preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; other certifications encouraged as appropriate
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills in adult Med/Surg care
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining patient safety
