Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend, 2 out of 3 major holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
- Monitor and titrate vasoactive drips, sedatives, and other continuous infusions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attendings, fellows, and residents
- Float to other inpatient units as needed (excluding Maternity/NICU) to support hospital operations
- Respond to rapid responses and codes as a charge nurse resource
- Manage patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, stroke, and cardiogenic shock
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience required
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Driver's license required for radius verification
- No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Knowledge & Skills

- Proficiency in managing ventilators, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environment
