Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - Long Term Care
Location: Rutland, Vermont
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-17-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday with every other weekend, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (including 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 37
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Document care provided and resident observations accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont or New Hampshire (or both)
- BLS certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Ability to work every other weekend as required
- Reliable personal transportation due to limited public transit availability
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents physically
- Time management skills to handle a dynamic workload
