Location: Rutland, Vermont

Start Date: 06-08-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday with every other weekend, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (including 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Document care provided and resident observations accurately
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver individualized care plans
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont or New Hampshire (or both)
BLS certification preferred
Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
Ability to work every other weekend as required
Reliable personal transportation due to limited public transit availability

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents physically
Time management skills to handle a dynamic workload
