Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Shift 2, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs, and observe changes in residents' conditions to report to nursing staff
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
  • Support residents during meals, including feeding assistance and hydration monitoring
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment that promotes dignity
  • Document care provided accurately and communicate clearly with the care team

Qualifications

  • Active LNA certification in VT or NH - we want your skills
  • Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is a plus (but not always required)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
  • A compassionate heart and a team-player attitude
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide valid identification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of resident care techniques and daily living assistance
  • Skill in monitoring vitals and recognizing changes in condition
  • Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members
  • Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics
  • Comfortable using electronic documentation systems
