Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional intake
• Take vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions
• Support residents with daily activities and encourage independence
• Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in long-term care or rehab setting preferred
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption per facility policy

• Knowledge of resident care principles and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion and patience
• Ability to document care accurately
• Time management and adaptability
