Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Monitor and document patient status, vitals, and responses to care
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
  • Educate residents and families on health conditions and care strategies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment while following infection control protocols
  • Document care promptly and thoroughly in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications

  • Current LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
  • Must meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements or have an approved religious/medical exemption
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and provide reliable, compassionate care
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

  • Medication administration and dosage calculation skills
  • Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
  • A compassionate, patient-first approach to care
