Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered, closely monitoring resident responses
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe, clean environment
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Maine
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or a documented medical/religious exemption
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including nights
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must provide a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing principles, standards, and best practices
- Medication administration and patient assessment skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices
- Understanding of infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
- Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team
