Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to care
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team to deliver the best outcomes
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maine (or eligible to practice in Maine)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medication administration and wound care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
• A compassionate, patient-first approach to care
