Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, includes 30-minute meal break

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
- Monitor and assess residents' health status, promptly communicating changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to create and update individualized care plans
- Document patient care thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Support residents and their families with education and emotional encouragement
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with facility requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Compassionate, dependable, and adaptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Patient-centered approach to care with attention to dignity and respect
