Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning for safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment while following infection control protocols
• Communicate openly with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure quality care
• Support the nursing team by documenting care accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• New graduates and experienced CNAs alike are welcome to apply
• Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or have a documented religious/medical exemption
• Valid government-issued identification and ability to wear a photo badge
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Skill in monitoring vital signs and documenting observations
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to stay calm and respond effectively in changing situations
• Empathy for residents needing daily support
