Location: Sacramento, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, plus overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the sterile field in a fast-paced CVOR environment
Assist surgeons during complex cardiac and vascular surgeries
Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are fully operational
Monitor and interpret EKG strips during procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Float to other Sacramento facilities when needed (rare)

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification preferred
1st-time travelers welcome to apply
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Strong sterile technique and infection control knowledge
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced OR setting
