Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedules, 3 weekends in a 6-week period, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes using EFM technology
Titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 with precision
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-risk pregnancies including patients with diabetes and substance use concerns
Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support sister departments
Participate in rotating call coverage to ensure safe staffing levels

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with titratable drips and fetal monitoring
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and take call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Experience with high-BMI and high-risk obstetric patients
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, dedicated team
Flexible and adaptable when floating to support other departments
