Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts with every other weekend requirement and 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Circulate and scrub for cesarean sections to ensure safe surgical outcomes
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Respond swiftly to obstetrical emergencies such as hypertension and hemorrhage
Collaborate with OB techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional mother-baby care

Qualifications

Active RN license (Oregon license not required at submission; 90-day emergency license available)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfort with telemetry monitoring and fetal strip interpretation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Proficiency with GE Centricity EFM system
Ability to manage ventilators and bubble CPAP equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork in a closed-unit setting
