Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Monitor fetal strips and titrate drips including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support the team
Collaborate with in-house OB/Neonatologists and Anesthesia available 24/7

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Experience with high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Comfortable with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring
Ability to read fetal strips and titrate drips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner electronic medical record system
Level 3 high-risk facility protocols
AWHONN staffing guidelines
Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin drip management
