Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, rotating weekends (Friday-Sunday) and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP unit
Manage triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Assist with baby catching and transition care for newborns
Administer Pitocin and other titrating drips as needed
Collaborate with a two-nurse team, including charge nurse duties
Perform AWHONN-compliant fetal monitoring using OBIX system

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of L&D experience
Trained in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
Ability to triage and function as baby catcher/transition nurse
Current RN license in Colorado or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines
Experience with OBIX EFM system
Certifications: ALS, NRP, AWHONN EFM
Ability to work in a rural, fast-paced environment
