Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts: 2x10hr and 2x8hr options, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with call every third weekend and 1-2 weeknights per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead conscious sedation procedures with autonomy and precision
Manage patient care throughout interventional radiology procedures including pre, intra, and post-procedure
Collaborate with the IR team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Perform accurate charting and documentation using EPIC
Circulate during interventional cases and monitor patients closely
Assist with stroke thrombectomies, embolizations, lines, tubes, and biopsies

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of start
Experience with moderate sedation and conscious sedation
Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
Ability to work flexible shifts and call requirements
Comfortable with EPIC, Philips Xper, and Siemens C-Arm equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of interventional radiology nursing and conscious sedation
Skill in patient monitoring and critical thinking during procedures
Proficiency in EPIC charting and Philips Xper hemodynamic system
Understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
