Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 4 shifts per week including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between ICU and PCU, providing critical care to patients with complex needs
Manage titratable drips and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists for optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to cardiac, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure patients
Maintain telemetry monitoring and respond to changes promptly

Qualifications

Current RN license in Texas
ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of critical care experience
Ability to float between ICU and PCU

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive drips
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms
Strong assessment skills for critically ill patients
Knowledge of ventilator management and BiPAP
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
