Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients
Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication regimens
Perform thorough assessments and prioritize care in high-acuity situations
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery expectations
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or compact state as applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
Prior ICU or critical care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage complex patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and respiratory care for critically ill patients
Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive infusions
Critical care medication administration and infusion pump management
Proficient charting in electronic health record systems
Infection control practices and ICU-specific protocols
Rapid assessment, triage, and crisis management abilities
