Location: Kearney, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients
Titrate drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips with GE monitors
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for high-quality patient care
Float to PCU and MedSurg units as needed
Participate in open-book orientation exams to ensure competency

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book orientation exam with 90%

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips and sedation
Experience with GE monitors and telemetry
Care for diverse patient populations (trauma, cardiac, stroke, etc.)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
