Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to a diverse patient population in various ICUs (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapies
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable titrating all critical drips independently
Epic experience preferred, especially for first-time travelers
Ability to float to different acuity levels (ICU, PCU/Stepdown, Med-Surg Tele) as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and ventilator management
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation without monitor technicians
Strong critical thinking and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for floating across units
