Hours per Week: Varies, single shift approximately 8 hours (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with 30-minute meal break)

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening/night shift
Perform thorough assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Respond promptly to patient needs and urgent situations with clinical confidence
Maintain clear, timely electronic documentation and handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
Ability to work independently on night shift with strong clinical judgment
Immunizations and background checks in accordance with facility policy

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Effective communication and teamwork during handoffs
Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
