Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends included, 36 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert trauma and emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center
Float between multiple ER facilities to support patient needs
Maintain sterile field during critical procedures like central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Participate in SIMs lab and competency validation to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience
Minimum 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Must pass DYS exam prior to accepting assignment
Comfortable with floating between multiple campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Knowledge of trauma nursing best practices
Ability to maintain sterile field and perform central line dressing changes
Skills in Foley catheter insertion
Team player with strong communication skills
