Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and MedSurg unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
Titrate intravenous medications and drips as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Float to ED holds as needed and take charge nurse responsibilities when assigned
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state
At least one year of MedSurg experience
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications
Ability to titrate drips and interpret telemetry
Comfortable working in a fast-paced ED/MedSurg environment

Knowledge & Skills

MedSurg and Emergency nursing skills
Telemetry interpretation and monitoring
Titrating intravenous medications and drips
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Team collaboration and charge nurse abilities
Flexible and adaptable in a swing unit setting
