Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in the emergency department
Perform rapid assessment, triage and prioritize care for acute patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, techs and support staff to coordinate patient care
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up care

Qualifications

Current RN license in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain) — compact license holders encouraged to apply
BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Prior emergency department (ED/ER) experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, triage and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of required state licensure and certifications

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing principles and rapid assessment techniques
IV therapy, medication administration and basic cardiac monitoring
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Patient-centered care and clear documentation practices
Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
