Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care for patients of all ages
• Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients in urgent and critical situations
• Administer treatments and medications safely and document care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the ED team to deliver coordinated care
• Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Participate in orientation, unit-based training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in New Hampshire or compact RN eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous emergency department experience preferred but motivated new ED clinicians are welcome
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in triage, acute patient assessment, and emergency interventions
• Proficient with IV therapy, medication administration, and basic emergency procedures
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and documenting care accurately
• Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining patient-centered care
• Team-oriented mindset with strong clinical judgment and situational awareness
