Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care for urgent needs
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care, assessments, and interventions clearly in the chart
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in resuscitation when needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
Experience or interest in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged
Ability to pass required orientation and competency validation
Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
IV insertion, medication administration, and basic procedures
Ability to work effectively in high-acuity situations
Clear clinical documentation and charting practices
Team communication and collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
