Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, timely emergency nursing care to patients in the ED/ER
Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Coordinate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and next steps

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility for NH licensure)
Experience or demonstrated competency in Emergency Department / Emergency Room settings
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts as indicated by the posting
Strong clinical judgment, ability to triage, and effective communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing principles and fast-paced triage skills
Patient assessment and stabilization in acute care scenarios
Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
Clear and timely clinical documentation and handoffs
Calm decision-making under pressure and good situational awareness
