Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the Emergency Department for diverse patient populations
Perform rapid and accurate patient assessments and prioritize care in high-acuity situations
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and policy
Document patient care and clinical findings clearly and promptly
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
Respond effectively to emergencies, participating in code and trauma responses as needed

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with ED/ER experience (core requirement)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour emergency department shifts
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency department clinical knowledge and triage principles
Patient assessment and stabilization skills
IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency interventions
Electronic medical record documentation
Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations
