Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team for optimal outcomes
Monitor patient vitals and manage surgical equipment during procedures
Ensure sterile field and infection control protocols are maintained
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of CVOR or operating room experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
