Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM, negotiable shifts with call requirements (one weekday per week, one weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with open heart surgeries, TAVR procedures, and endovascular cases
Scrub into cases to hold the heart and assist with chest closure
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient vitals and manage intraoperative care
Participate in call rotation including weeknights and weekends

Qualifications

Current RN license in Colorado
BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred)
Minimum 2-3 years of CVOR experience with open heart and/or endovascular procedures
Ability to scrub into heart cases and assist with chest closure
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures
Proficiency in Epic EMR
Ability to scrub and assist in CVOR
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
