Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekend shifts (Nights: Fri-Sat, Days: Sat-Sun)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assign patients to appropriate units based on their needs and bed availability
Use critical thinking to assess bed requests and communicate with charge nurses or leadership if adjustments are needed
Navigate multiple software applications simultaneously, including TeleTracking, Cerner, and Google apps
Coordinate with emergency department and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain accurate records and update bed status in real time

Qualifications

Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona (or compact)
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred
Must be proficient in TeleTracking and Cerner
Strong computer skills, including experience with Zoom and Google applications
Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Bed management systems (TeleTracking)
EMR proficiency (Cerner)
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
