Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with potential weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting diets as necessary
Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
Collaborate with healthcare team to integrate nutrition into overall care
Document interventions and outcomes in electronic medical records

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Current state licensure or eligibility in California
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medical nutrition therapy for low to moderate acuity patients
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Ability to cover telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and ICU floors
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
