Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and compassion
Position patients and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure high-quality images while following radiation safety protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care
Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient records and PACS
Provide patient education and comfort during imaging procedures

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiography or equivalent credential
State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Louisiana
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiography or recent clinical training
Strong patient care skills and professional communication
Ability to follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or accredited radiography program
ARRT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and quality control
Good problem-solving skills and attention to image detail
Comfort working with diverse patient populations and clinical teams
