Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality daily radiation treatments using CBCT, IGRT, IMRT and 3D planning to support excellent patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain linear accelerators and CT simulator equipment safely and effectively
• Perform CT simulation and assist with CyberKnife (Accuray M6) procedures when applicable
• Document treatments and patient interactions accurately in the Mosaiq EMR
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and the care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate and comfort patients and families, communicating treatment steps with clarity and compassion
• Adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines to maintain a safe treatment environment

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience (as listed in the position profile)
• Hands-on Elekta linac experience (must have)
• Mosaiq EMR experience (must have)
• CT simulation experience (preferred)
• CRad motion management experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills, self-starter attitude, and a positive team-oriented approach
• Ability to work day-shift schedule and follow unit dress code (navy blue top, navy or gray bottoms)

Knowledge & Skills

• Linear accelerator operation (Elekta Versa HD)
• CBCT, IGRT, IMRT and 3D treatment workflows
• CT simulation and GE Lightspeed simulator familiarity
• CyberKnife (Accuray M6) experience
• Mosaiq EMR proficiency
• Patient positioning, immobilization, and treatment verification techniques
• Basic troubleshooting and safety procedures for radiation therapy equipment
