Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days not specified (schedule to be confirmed with facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
Monitor and document patient vital signs, conditions, and changes accurately
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and care team members
Support infection control procedures and facility policies to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in Georgia
Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and compassionate
Prior long-term care or acute care experience a plus (if applicable)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proven ability to assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting
Basic vital signs measurement and patient observation skills
Patient transfer and safe body mechanics knowledge
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Customer-service oriented bedside manner and ability to work with diverse populations
