Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit — you set the tone for excellent care
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update medical records accurately
• Assist clinicians during exams and procedures with professionalism and attention to detail
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen handling when needed
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate updates clearly to the care team
• Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for the next patient
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions with empathy and clarity

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA preferred) or equivalent clinical training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable taking vitals, drawing blood, and performing basic clinical procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’ll be patient-facing and team-facing
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to participate in a required orientation
• Prior clinical experience preferred but enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic documentation best practices
• Clinical skills including phlebotomy, specimen handling, and infection control
• Excellent patient communication and customer service mindset
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to learn from colleagues
