Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of acute and critical patients
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to protocols and physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
Document patient condition, interventions, and responses clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

Current, active RN license (must meet Hawaii state requirements)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Clinical experience in Emergency Department/ER settings preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and rapid assessment in high-acuity environments
Stabilization and emergency interventions for trauma and medical emergencies
IV therapy, medication administration, and procedural assistance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented ED setting
Competence with electronic medical record documentation
