Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, schedule varies (ED/ER)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced emergency setting
Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor patient status
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and execute care plans
Perform rapid clinical decision-making during trauma and acute presentations
Document patient care clearly and promptly in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact eligibility)
Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience preferred
Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong clinical assessment and triage skills with ability to prioritize
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity environments
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts in a dynamic emergency department

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment techniques
Acute care interventions and trauma management
Familiarity with emergency medications and protocols
Proficient documentation and EMR navigation
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
Patient- and family-centered communication skills
