Roles & Responsibilities

Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Position patients with care and clear communication to ensure comfort and accurate imaging
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnoses
Maintain patient records and imaging documentation accurately and professionally
Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
Participate in orientation and training to stay current with facility workflows and policies

Qualifications

ARRT certification or equivalent recognized radiologic technologist credential
Active state licensure or the ability to obtain a Missouri radiologic technologist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
Previous radiology or imaging experience preferred
Strong patient care skills with clear verbal communication and empathy
Ability to participate in orientation and onsite training as required

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program
Completion of clinical training required for certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with digital radiography systems and PACS workflows
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
Comfortable with patient positioning techniques for a variety of exams
Good documentation and basic computer skills for entering imaging records
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
