Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and compassionate patient care
Operate and maintain imaging equipment and complete required safety checks
Position patients correctly and explain procedures in a clear, reassuring way
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and the care team to support diagnostic workflows
Ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures in the patient record
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
Participate actively in orientation and team training

Qualifications

State radiologic technologist license or eligibility (MO license preferred)
ARRT certification preferred or equivalent credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and maintaining patient dignity
Ability to pass required background, health and immunization screenings

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Familiarity with PACS and DICOM image systems
Strong patient communication and positioning skills
Knowledge of radiation safety, quality control and infection prevention
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate appropriately
